The Nova Scotia Health Authority formed in 2015 when the Nova Scotia Government passed Bill 1, which combined 9 district health authorities across Nova Scotia into 1 health authority. I have been working for the health authority in the Central Zone since 2006.

The Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is the non-profit Regulatory Board guiding the self-regulation of physiotherapy in Nova Scotia, since 1958. I have been a member in good standing since 2004.
Mission: "The Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists assures that the interests of the public are upheld through the regulation and promotion of competent and ethical physiotherapy services under the Physiotherapy Act."

The Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association (NSPA) is a provincial branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. I have been a member since 2015 and currently hold the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors.
